So what makes Marriott Hotel one of the successful hotel chain worldwide? It was surprisingly simple — they just #takecare.
We can just take it as simple lip service but hearing the words from their top management of Cebu City Marriott Hotel, who take some time off to be in their Run to Give fun run press conference, meant that they really do mean it.
Run to Give 2017 is the very first fun run organized by Cebu City Marriott Hotel. It would be fun to be part of this somewhat historical running event in Cebu.
So what does #takecare really mean, and what is Run to Give 2017 about? Here are some short video clips from different leaders of Cebu City Marriott Hotel Cebu:
Joe Xavier Fijardo. Operations Director, Cebu City Marriott Hotel
Frances Alfafara. Sales & Marketing Director, Cebu City Marriott Hotel
In line with their #takecare motto, Cebu City Marriott Hotel’s Run to Give 2017 beneficiary is Rise Above Foundation, who also helps and take care of local communities in Cebu by empowering them to be able to take care of their own selves, family, and its community in the long run. Rise Above Foundation provide assistance in building homes, and training community members in sustainable livelihood projects. Please check Rise Above foundation website, and patronize their products; your patronization will go a long way. For those interested to donate or volunteer, details are in their website.
To know more about Rise Above Foundation, here’s Marie Tangalin from the said foundation:
Frances Alfafara also shared how their relationship with Rise Above Foundation started.
Also, Marriot Hotel, being extra or simply just being who they are, is holding a running clinic this Sept. 16, 2017 for free for the first early registrants.
Run to Give 2017 is also supported by a lot of other brands, so you can expect some fun giveaways during the event.
Now it’s our turn to #takecare, join Run to Give 2017. More details here >>.
