Running in Cebu is INCOMPLETE…

…if you do NOT have a selfie / photo in (any of) the 3 iconic bridges of Cebu: Old Bridge, New Bridge (Marcelo Fernan Bridge), and Cansaga Bridge. The University Run is also popularly called 3-Bridges Challenge as the route will pass through the said bridges.

Aside that the 3 bridges will give you a scenic background for a photo opportunity in whichever angle,

…if you have not run a race by the longest running event organizer of Cebu, Run for Sight, who is celebrating their 10th edition of University Run this year.

As a special treat with their anniversary celebration, runners will get a second medal aside from the finisher’s medal – Run for Sight 10th anniversary commemorative medal.

…if you do not have a photo with the power running couple, Doc Yong & Ms. Donna Cruz-Larrazabal. How active the running community in Cebu is, this couple is one of the reasons to thank for. Together with their Run for Sight team, they started organizing fun runs back in the days when the idea of running was still very alien. And, it certainly helped to motivate Cebu community to be active if you have good-looking runners to look up to.

As its tradition, University Run will coincide with the sports fest / intramurals of Cebu Doctors University thus making it an extra festive run. Sunsport is also supporter of Run for Sight races so there will be some quality Sunsport balls to be given away on race day.
