Yesterday, Race Director Bien Probadora met with the heads of different Barangays of Compostela for initial briefing, and also consultation.
It was fun to note that the heads of barangays suggested more challenging routes for the race. And, it was one of the reasons that Bien really took time to get feedback from the locals as they could provide a better input thus better experience to the runners.

Aside from the barangay heads, the head of DAR was also there because this is race is literally a GREEN run. The runners are of 12K and 21K are required to plant a tree before going to the finish line! So PREPARE TO RUN AND PLANT FOR THIS RACE!!! BRING A SHOVEL WITH YOU! Kidding, the “hole” for the tree to be planted on will be prepared ahead!

The PNP head of Compostela was also there for the safety and security advices.
The beautiful local medical team was also present.
The organiser would like to thank you the Compostela Mayor Joel P. Quino for the assistance and support he provides to make this race a reality.
