The 11th SCAP National Leadership Conference will be held in Cebu this year from April 3 to May 4, 2014. But before the conference, they will start it with a Fun Run, Takbo Alay sa Kalikasan, which will be more fun with the MVP Chris Tiu. The fun run aims to spread awareness of SCAP’s EARTHKEEPERS PROJECT (Environmental Conservation & Protection Program).
The fun run assembly / starting area will be at the historical Plaza Independencia, which is just in front of Fort San Pedro, and race route will be going to SRP and back. It definitely has a nice short route.

More about the Student Catholic Association of the Philippines:
The Student Catholic Action of the Philippines (SCAP) is an organized group of students striving to become a community of disciples of Jesus Christ by being evangelized and evangelizing.
SCAP is a campus-based organization that forms students to become socially aware and effective leaders in the community through its five-area socio-civic action oriented programs- (1) Politics and Good Governance, (2) Education and Culture, (3) Spirituality, (4) Society, Economy and Ecology and (5) Recreation and Mass Media. SCAP is now in its 78th year of moulding consistent and efficient student leaders for the church and society. It applies the
enquiry method of see-judge-act in seeing reality and deeply reflecting its actions.
The Student Catholic Action has its own share of Magsaysay Awardees in the person of Chief Justice Hilario Davide in the category of government service. SCA alumni shone in the other sectors of society. In the field of governance, the late Senator Raul Roco exemplified the virtue of Christian leadership. CHED Commissioner Patricia Licuanan dedicated herself to education and women. SCAP also contributed many talents in the field of NGO work. Ms Carmencita Abella, Magsaysay Awards Foundation President and Ms Fe Revita – Arriola of the Consuelo Foundation are worth mentioning. No less than Luis Antonio Cardinal Tagle of the Archdiocese of Manila and Archbishop Antonio Ledesma, SJ are inducted SCAns.
