Gra Dapanas of Valencia, Bukidnon will have her first try racing an ultramarathon distance this All-Women Ultramarathon 2014.
I asked her to show us her “sexy” training grounds.
If she’s not joining any races on weekend, she joined LSD’s (Long Slow Distance) with the Valencia Runners, her running group along their “rolling hills” highway.
Their group will be joining the 4th Tri 30 + Run, a 30-km foot race from Valencia to Malaybalay, this weekend March 2, 2014. Registration is still open so come and join! =)
Musuan Peak or Mt. Kalayo in Maramag, Bukidnon
This is where she often most do her training runs. This is the last part of her 3 to 4 times a week’s 45mins-1hour. It’s a 2.6K uphill and 2.6K downhill.
This girl definitely eat hills for breakfast. So though this might be her first time, she might be one of the runners who will complete the top 10 roster. =) The seven tribes of Bukidnon is definitely cheering for this girl! =)
