One of my race strategy in finishing races is to stop at Aid Stations. So I have a lot to be thankful for their presence as they are a big part of getting me to the finish line. If I may not be able to collect medal or make a PR, at least, I get a few photos of smiles.
In the previous years, aid stations during the CCM were usually manned by different running groups especially by the CERC (Cebu Executive Runners Club). This year, running groups are still in present, but businesses are now also actively becoming part of the racing scene by sponsoring the aid stations. It can really mean a very positive sign: health and wellness, sports tourism, etc. I believe there is a lot to be thankful for.
Here’s a little token of appreciation for the major major support:
or Primary Group. I forgot the explanation of the crew about the difference between Primary Homes and Primary Group.
Watch out for their Hunat Sugbo (sometime in June), and maybe another triathlon event organized and sponsored by Parklane Hotel.
A mobile disco system with a DJ. DJ is blurry from the photo.
Cebu Bionic Builders / TTB, and many more
There were too many logos in this aid station, sorry, I could not recall them all.
Last year, they organized the PhilConstruct Run. So they might have a 2nd edition this 2014, so it’s something to look forward to.
You could not fail to feel sunshine seeing her.
Cebu Holiday, I think annually, organized a race, Run to the Max. It’s usually staged some time in September.
After this, there was still Coco Running from what I can remember. I no longer was able to take photos after as we were catching up for the cut-off time!
Again, thank you, from all the runners! Until next time, rain or shine!
